The genesis of this review series came about simply because of myself being a lifelong Bond fan and with the looming release of the 22nd Bond film Quantum of Solace, I thought it might
be fun to take a quick look at all the films in the 007 film series before Quantum hit screens.
That didn’t happen.
Not having done many video reviews it was just a fun, rough experiment that would eventually evolve into a much more detailed and indepth look at the films and the series. I guess I had more to say about 007 than I originally thought, so Sean Connery really got slighted in retrospect.
Considered by many fans as the quintessential James Bond I take a quick look at Sean Connery’s first five 007 films – Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball and You Only Live Twice.
Honestly, I don’t very much care for these earliest reviews of mine. They’re stiff, shoddy and very dry. But I made them so if anything they remind me of the progress I’ve made with these projects. I’d like to revisit the Connery Years and spend more time discussing each film in much more detail and since there is much more to say about them then I did here.
